The train services in Andalucia are of a
very high standard. Day-trips to Seville (right), Cordoba, Malaga and Ronda
from Granada are all very 'do-able'.
The prices are reasonable, the trains on
time and the standards of comfort very good. In fact, our
researchers report that the journey itself is worth the effort.
How many Virgin passengers can claim that?...

We have 'done' North Africa in a
day - ferry to Tangiers from Algeciras - but in the light of
recent events in Casablanca we wouldn't recommend it.
